Roof Ice Melt 2 System - Designed for Wisconsin Roofs
A self-regulating heat cable is channeled into an aluminum base panel which is designed for maximum heat transfer. Each base panel is clad with 040 prefinished aluminum (UnaClad - over 30 colors or Copper) to best compliment the colors of your home. We have many colors to choose from. When mounted to your roof eaves and/or valleys, our systems are designed to eliminate ice dams and snow build up in those areas, keeping your home safer and reducing risk of winter damage to your roof, home's interior and surrounding property. Roof Ice Melt System - Designed for Larger Snow/Ice Melting Requirements
This system is the perfect system for larger buildings and areas receiving greater snowfall. It is designed to handle mountain and lake effect snowfalls. It is also recommended for those who desire a system that can handle more difficult areas such as heavy drifting. The RIM System operates with three runs of 12 watts/ft self-regulating heat cable. This provides superior ice and snow melting capabilites. Ice dams simply cannot form with system.
Heat Cables
A Self-Regulating Heat Cable for Roof and Gutter Deicing. The roof heat cables control their own temperature through the core which slows the electrical flow as it warms to its desired temperature. Bylin Engineered Systems uses its own self-regulated heat cables. They customarily stock more than 200,000 feet of heat trace tape for fast shipment even in peak season.
